Purpose and Private Status

Christian County Released Inmates is an independent reference site. It does not work for Christian County, the Sheriff’s Office, the Christian County Detention Center, the Missouri Department of Corrections, a court, a parole office, the federal government, or an immigration agency. No official roster, release record, court file, or corrections record is stored here. Site operators cannot confirm custody, order a release, change a record, file a court paper, or speak for a public office.

The site directs users to public agencies, official locators, and outside research tools that may help with a specific records question. Access to Missouri government records is controlled by the issuing agency and applicable law, including Missouri’s Sunshine Law in Chapter 610. Linking to an office or tool does not make it part of this site.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the site, its search features, and information reached through its links in a lawful and respectful way. In particular, you must not:

• Use the site or any linked information to violate federal, Missouri, or local law.
• Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or cause harm to another person.
• Use site content for a hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or other FCRA-regulated decision.
• Try to enter accounts, servers, databases, or areas without authorization.
• Run bots, scrapers, automated queries, or extraction tools against the site.
• Overload, disable, alter, or interfere with the site or another visitor’s access.

Missouri section 407.1150 also restricts a criminal-record publisher from taking payment from a record subject to remove or correct covered criminal-record information. Nothing on this site authorizes conduct that conflicts with that law or another consumer-protection rule.

No Consumer Reports

Christian County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare or provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising and search partners do not offer screening services through this site. By using these resources, you agree not to use any content or result for an FCRA-covered purpose.

• Employment decisions, including hiring, retention, promotion, or termination
• Tenant selection, housing approval, or lease decisions
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance premiums
• Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility when regulated by the FCRA
• Any other eligibility or screening decision governed by consumer-reporting law

Links and Outside Services

Links may lead to Christian County release records, Sheriff’s Office resources, Missouri corrections and court portals, federal custody locators, legal-aid information, or third-party search services. Those destinations operate under their own terms, privacy practices, data rules, and availability standards. A link is provided for reference and does not mean that Christian County Released Inmates owns, controls, endorses, or guarantees the outside service. Review the destination’s policies before submitting a name, identifier, payment detail, or other information.

Service Provided As Is

The site, its content, and its functions are provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties. To the extent permitted by law, no promise is made that:

• Any page, record description, address, link, or other detail is accurate, complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose.
• The site will remain available without an interruption.
• The service will be free of mistakes, defects, malicious code, or security weaknesses.
• An outside search provider will return a complete or useful result.

Custody, release, supervision, and public-record information can change quickly. A current Christian County jail roster differs from a release record, and a MODOC result has its own scope. Nothing presented here is an official statement by the sheriff, jail, court, corrections department, or another public agency. Confirm important facts with the office that created the record.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Christian County Released Inmates, its owners, operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from access to the site, inability to use it, reliance on its content, use of an outside link, or a third-party result. This limit applies even if the possibility of loss was known. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Christian County Released Inmates, its owners, operators, contributors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use or misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This obligation applies only to the extent permitted by law.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless a separate credit says otherwise, the site’s original text, graphics, branding, logos, page design, and code belong to Christian County Released Inmates or its content and technology partners. Government records and agency marks remain subject to their own rules and ownership. You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works from protected site materials without prior written permission or another lawful basis.

Revisions to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be revised at any time. A new version becomes effective when it is posted on this page. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept the updated terms. Check this page again if you need the current version.

Suspension or Termination

Access to all or part of the site may be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice. This includes action taken to protect the service, respond to misuse, comply with law, or maintain reliable access for other visitors. Ending access does not waive any term that should continue by its nature.

Missouri Law Controls

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without applying rules that would select another jurisdiction’s law. Any dispute relating to the site or these terms must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Missouri, unless controlling law requires a different forum.

Severability of Terms

If a court with proper authority finds one provision invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in effect. The affected language will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable while preserving its intended purpose.
